Troy Bledsoe was introduced to woodturning in 1989 and has been turning full-time since 1996. In addition to an extensive apprenticeship in polychromatic turning, he has studied with several nationally known woodturners. He is a founding member and past president of the Peach State Woodturners and a gallery artist in Southern Heartland Gallery, in Covington Georgia.
Troy teaches woodturning workshops at the John C. Campbell Folk School and near Hayesville, North Carolina several times a year. He resides with his wife, Betty, in Covington
