Kathy Cuiffi is a talented and accomplished local artist who has studied with a succession of distinguished artists and teachers in the United States.  Some of these artists include Tom McNickles at the Hoyt Gallery of Fine Art where she studied and participated in shows, Maria Lestyan a Hungarian portrait artist, and Louisa Yee, a Sumi watercolor artist.  Kathy akso studied under several other portrait artists, Tom Nash and Marc Chatov from Atlanta, Nancy Honea and Connie McCallie from Stone Mountain, Calla Shelton from Conyers and Tom Lynch from Arlington, VA.

Being a devoted wife and mother, Kathy chose to stay close to home which enabled her to tend to both her family as well as her growing business.  With 30 years experience, she proficiently works in all mediums, including oil, watercolor, and pastel.  Kathy does special commissions for people desiring paintings of people, scenes, animals, flowers, etc.  She also has a custom china painting business where she does embellishments on porcelain, tile, giftware, plates, etc.  to match wallpaper, paints, and customers’ colors.  She paints tile for kitchens, baths, and fireplace hearths.  Kathy also teaches group and private lessons.

Kathy’s artwork is displayed and can be purchased from her shop, Heartscapes, located at 3400 Hwy 212 in Covington.  She also has her artwork in several local shops including Southern Heartland Art Gallery on the Covington Square, and Nature Scene in Olde Town Conyers. Kathy is a juried member of the Portrait Society of Atlanta, and a member  of the Southern Heartland Art Guild.
